California lawmakers consider cyberbullying bill

California lawmakers consider cyberbullying bill August 11, 2008 8:40 PM PDT Posted by Steven Musil - "Assembly Bill 86, introduced by Assemblyman Ted Lieu of Torrance, passed the Senate on Monday by a 21-11 vote and now heads back to the Assembly for consideration of Senate amendments, according to an Associated Press report. If the Assembly approves the Senate amendments, the bill will be sent to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger."

Cyberbullying is a real problem, especially for school age kids. I'm not sure there's an easy way to combat it from a technical standpoint. What they should do is make the parents responsible for any underage (as in < 21) offenders.

Yeah, I said it.
