Packing With Shrooms, Not Styrofoam

Packing With Shrooms, Not Styrofoam

"Recycled cardboard is a decent replacement for styrofoam packaging, but what about heavy items that [need] stronger protection? A company called Ecovative Design is banking on mushroom roots."

This is one of those "sounds ridiculous but is really good" ideas. I mean, if it works it can't hurt to use it, right? Styrofoam is fun and all but it is a bit messy and can get into everything.

  1. I have a small business, which means a small shipping budget. I began shredding the tons of junk mail I receive. The little tiny pieces pack very nicely around the items in the boxes and it doesn’t cost me a thing.

  2. Styrofoam packaging is a new form of cardboard packaging. It is used in different kinds of packaging and is much easy and comfortable in packaging.
