A Criminal For Playing a Video Game

The Entertainment Consumers Association is asking for help in defeating a piece of legislation.  Please read this and pass it on to everyone you know.
S. 978, would penalize average Americans for up to five years in prison for the simple act of sharing a video of their child singing a song.

Everyone is at risk. The vagueness of this law leaves it to copyright holders to determine the value of a song or performance and prosecute on a whim. If they want to prosecute through that loophole, they can. A child playing piano of their favorite performer on YouTube, a video of a child dancing to their favorite songs and video game players showing off walk-throughs, speed trials and live streaming their games are all examples of items that’d be prosecutable under this legislation.

Make sure to write your Senator today and tell them to vote no on this legislation http://action.theeca.com/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=4444
We must stop these attacks on free speech and fair use.
